SEA Europe webinar: the new EU Industrial Maritime Strategy, 26 March 2026

SEA Europe has announced a webinar titled “The new EU Industrial Maritime Strategy”, scheduled for Thursday, 26 March 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 CET. The topic is highly relevant for shipbuilding, repair, maritime equipment and related services at a time when EU industrial policy is entering a decisive phase.

According to the invitation circulated to members, the session will address strategic priorities for Europe’s maritime industrial base and the implications for competitiveness across the value chain. For companies, this matters because it connects decarbonisation and strategic autonomy goals with practical instruments such as industrial support, investment pipelines and technology modernisation.

From an operational perspective, attending this webinar can help organisations anticipate policy direction, align project portfolios with future funding opportunities and update medium-term business plans. For stakeholders in Romania and the wider region, the discussion is especially relevant in the context of strengthening local value creation and integration into European maritime supply chains.

SEA Europe notes that participation is open upon registration, with requests expected by 23 March; the meeting link will then be shared with registered participants.
