A new emergency ordinance on foreign workers’ access to Romania’s labor market introduces significant changes for employers. According to the update circulated within ANCONAV, the amendments bring additional hiring costs compared with previous regulations.
One positive change is that, alongside recruitment agencies, employers can now initiate the recruitment process directly.
Companies relying on foreign labor should assess the financial impact and adjust recruitment timelines accordingly.
