SEA Europe GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2025

Between June 11-13, 2025, the shipbuilding and equipment manufacturers summit will take place in Bucharest under the patronage of the National Shipbuilding Association of Romania (ANCONAV) and the Shipyards and Maritime Equipment Association of Europe (SEA Europe).

CEOs/COOs/general directors of shipyards, association presidents, businessmen, and naval equipment manufacturers from 17 European countries have announced their participation in this event.
SEA Europe represents the European maritime manufacturing industry, encompassing the production, maintenance, repair, modernization, and conversion of all types of ships and floating structures – commercial as well as military – including the entire supply chain with various manufacturers of maritime systems, equipment materials, and services.
A competitive and resilient maritime manufacturing industry is essential for Europe’s economic security and strategic autonomy
It gives the European Union control over essential maritime technologies and, therefore, the ability to build and maintain ships and platforms vital for trade, (renewable) energy supply and critical maritime and underwater infrastructure, such as offshore wind farms and underwater cables. For 3 days, the current situation of European shipbuilding in the global context will be debated and analyzed, as well as the maritime industrial strategy initiated by SEA Europe proposed to the European Commission for approval.
