Vard Shipyards Romania is made up of the two shipyards in Romania of the VARD group, namely the one in Tulcea and the one in Brăila, which is also a member of the Fincantieri group. VARD’s aim is to remain the preferred partner for customers and to offer the most advanced solutions in the offshore and specialised ship market. VARD was founded, built and builds on trust.
The shipyard has an integrated management system in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 on quality management systems, OHSAS 18001 on occupational health and safety and ISO 14001 on environmental management system.
Over the last 10 years more than 25 million EURO have been invested in infrastructure, production lines and computer-aided design and management equipment and software. Particular attention has been paid to improving the working conditions of all employees.
